Power Electronics Lab

This course aims to familiarize students with the power semiconductor devices (power diodes and transistors), their construction, electrical characteristics, operating-principle, and their various industrial and commercial applications. Along with good mathematical skills, students must be familiar with the fundamental understanding of electronic components. Topics includes AC to DC Converters (Uncontrolled Rectifiers), AC to DC Converters (Controlled Rectifiers), AC to AC Converters; DC to DC Converters, DC to AC Converters (Inverters).
